Delivering Health and Care Digital Services at Scale – Techniques in Practice
NHS Digital is responsible for developing national digital software solutions of significant scale. Health and Care Services and National Health Bodies depend on these solutions to deliver critical public services; as such they need to be built to cope with significant volumes, security and with resilience, data integrity and quality as first-class concerns. NHS Digital, will provide an insight into the techniques and approaches behind the delivery of these enterprise-scale solutions - these include modern IT approaches such as agile, DevOps and user-centred design. This specific event will include interactive workshops, talks and demos to give attendees a chance to experience the techniques first hand. There will be plenty of opportunity to speak directly with the NHS Digital teams and specialists involved in national digital delivery across Health and Care.
The event is aimed at all types of roles within IT delivery and operational management; if you're a developer, tester or scrum master, a release, delivery, service or project manager, or just interested in modern software delivery techniques, come along to this event to find out more.
Delivering Health and Care Digital Services – Stories Behind the Tech
The digital solutions that underpin NHS Health and Care services are often the subject of public scrutiny. As a government-backed service of key importance and funded by the taxpayer this is understandable; however being in the spotlight does not mean that innovation and improvement are unachievable. Over the past few years NHS Digital have been involved in the delivery of projects and digital service improvements to support and benefit major Health and Care Service initiatives. Providing the opportunity to highlight how the use and investment in digital technology can bring about improvements to end-user services, this event gives the teams involved a chance to share and showcase some of the stories behind the tech and demonstrate some of the innovative solution delivered.
There will be plenty of opportunity to see up close the tech involved and meet the teams to directly discuss how NHS Digital are using digital technology to move Health and Care Services forward.
The Digital Future of Health and Care
If you’re wondering if the digital revolution is passing the Health and Care Services by then you’d be forgiven, but very much mistaken. Digital technology, apps and ideas are bringing a new wave of innovation that’s set to transform Health and Care services across the UK. This event hosted by NHS Digital, will introduce a series of talks and open-space demos, plus networking and collaboration opportunities. The format will be interactive and engaging giving both those with ideas, data and solutions, and those with real-world challenges and opportunities the chance to interact.
To achieve this, our aim is to bring together a wide range of professionals working in this space, from digital developers, designers and innovators to those on the front-line in Health and Care, to showcase and discuss the latest Digital ideas. Regardless as to whether you’re a well-established supplier in the Health and Care profession, a start-up with an app or service to show what’s possible, or a clinician or GP with a problem to solve, this event provides a great opportunity to discover and help shape the future of Digital Health and Care.
